Hello there, I'm Phil

Resume

About me

I’m a UX/UI designer driven by the process, by the puzzle. Driven by collaboration and by solving problems.

Using tools like Sketch, Figma, InVision, Principle, and the Adobe Suite, I’ve created interfaces designed to curb user drop off, to bring the MVP to fruition, and to delight.

Before becoming a designer, I graduated from Macaulay Honors College with a degree in English. Throughout college, I wrote movie reviews and conducted red-carpet interviews for an online publication. Then I worked at The Frick Collection as the captain of the softball team. Also as the grants assistant, raising money for exhibitions.

My background is in writing, in articulation, in communication—skills that I leverage daily in my design work.

When I’m not at my desk designing, I’m at my desk doing something else. Probably writing. Probably fine tuning a screenplay that I’m pretty sure only my writing partner and I find remotely funny and compelling.

When I’m not at my desk at all—which is geographically complicated, living in an apartment the size of a large toaster oven—I’m probably cooking or reading or out with my friends, trying to make them laugh but succeeding only in making myself look ridiculous.

We should talk!

Let’s build something together
